I started making beats in ’04 with no intention of it going anywhere. My cousin though, who ran a label at the time wanted me to produce for his rapper and so I guess that was the start of me taking beatmaking a little seriously…
In 07, as a genuine fan I went out to the Mochi & Teebs “release party” and was conned into being one of only two people that night to actually buy their crappy CD. I started working with Teebs afterwards though and we formed the duo known today as “Bearded Baby.”
A few months later the three of us were drafted into the crew My Hollow Drum. I went on to release my first mixtape, No Borders where I remixed some pop songs. I then put out the follow-up, Attack of the Killa Bees where I flipped these Wu Tang tracks…
I have a few things in the works, future releases with HW&W & MHD… so be on the look out for that.
