HW&W MGMT SQUAD

In early October Gravez, Tek.lun, and DrewsThatDude came down to LA with one mission in mind: to find an apartment. We had been planning this move for the better part of a year and it finally came together this month. I’m actually sitting here in their new spot now listening to Gravez make a beat while Drew is playing the new Star Wars game on the PS4.

In the past week Tek and Drew cut a collab EP and a lot of the new material going on Gravez’ debut EP was recorded here as well. Now the only step left is for Fwdslxsh, currently in East London to get his Visa sorted so he can come out here for a few months at a time.

Congrats to the boys. This is the start of something big. Let’s get it.

London Sessions: The Collabs

If you guys didn’t know a couple months ago Gravez, Fwdslxsh, and Tek.lun went on their first Europe tour together. A collaboration with HW&W and our French pals Kitsuné, we had a lot of fun getting to hang with our boys PYRMDPLAZA, Melo-Zed, Oshi, etc.. Anyways in our apartment we rented in the Chinatown area of Soho, London.. some dope ass tracks featuring collabs between the guys went down and here are two of the best:

Bryson Tiller – 502 Come Up

People throw the words “star” and “hit” around too lightly.  What really defines a hit in our world.. some SoundCloud plays?  Maybe.  Getting played at the club, sort of..  You can look at the charts to find the real hits but who out of the people you actually vibe with bumps Shawn Mendes?  Exactly.  Bryson Tiller is a future star in the truest sense and has certified hits, relevant in the streets, club, and the charts.  You could easily make the case for “Don’t” as song of the year in every barber shop in America.  “502 Come Up”,  the standout track from his debut album Trapsoul is produced none other than by our Rookie of the Year Gravez and friend to the fambam J-Louis. Huge congrats to Bryson and everyone involved in Trapsoul, yall showed the world in 2015 that ill shit beats out everything.
